I have never really been much of a fan of Donnie Yen. Why? Well I don't really know. Recently, though, I have started to overcome this and started to watch his movies."Flashpoint" is a great, high speed, Hong Kong police, action thriller. Sure, the storyline here is something that has been seen before in countless other police movies, both Asian and Western. But it still worked out well enough, because "Flashpoint" has a good, solid storyline and a heap of adrenaline-filled action and really well choreographed martial arts.Being a fan of Asian cinema and Hong Kong movies in particular, I found "Flashpoint" to be a rather great movie, and truth be told, actually one of the better police action/thrillers I have seen in a long, long time. I was immediately caught up in the storyline and was blown away by the action sequences. The people they had cast for the movie were great, not only Donnie Yen (playing inspector Ma Jun), but also Louis Koo (playing Wilson), who always delivers a great performance. It was nice to see Louis Koo in a movie of this type and see him out of his usual element. And Collin Chou (playing Tony) really did a splendid job.As mentioned earlier, "Flashpoint" has some really well-choreographed action and martial arts scenes and sequences. But I must say that the final showdown between Ma Jun and Tony was jawdroppingly amazing. That was one of the best and most adrenaline-filled fights I have seen in a movie. That scene alone makes it well worth watching this movie. If you like action movies with lots of speed and adrenaline, like martial arts and/or like Hong Kong movies, then you most definitely have to sit down and watch "Flashpoint", because it is a hard hitting spectacular action movie. "Flashpoint" is a well-deserving movie on the DVD shelves of any Hong Kong movie lover.

A: Flashpoint Infinity downloads games on demand, so you can keep only the games you like by using Flashpoint Infinity. But because game files must be laid out the same way as they would be on the internet, for most of Flashpoint's existence it was impossible to separate game files cleanly into individual packages. With Flashpoint's GameZIP Server, games can now be served from standalone ZIP files, but many of the Legacy games that were saved before the GameZIP Server was implemented still need to be converted. We're working on it!
A: The short answer is no, this is not true. Games in Flashpoint never connect directly to the internet; they connect to Flashpoint's "fake internet," which is a proxy server running locally on your computer. If you are using Flashpoint Infinity, this proxy server will connect to Flashpoint's server at infinity.unstable.life to download any files that are unavailable locally. Once the game files are downloaded, the game can be played offline. If you are using Flashpoint Ultimate, an internet connection is never required to play games. See How Flashpoint Works for more information.
To address the specific claims in Nick Robinson's video: Mission in Snowdriftland has been fully archived in Flashpoint since 2019 and is fully playable offline in Flashpoint Infinity once the game files have been downloaded. We have tested this with all network adapters disabled via the Windows Control Panel. Nick Robinson used a third-party "internet killswitch" tool that may have unusually interfered with Flashpoint. He did not speak to us before the publication of the video and did not report any issues with our software to us, but later corrected the claims in his video as a comment on the video's page.
A: If you have Flashpoint Ultimate, you can use FlashpointUpdater. There is no updater available for Flashpoint Infinity or Core yet; you'll need to download and extract the new version. You can transfer any playlists you'd like to keep to a new version of Flashpoint by following the instructions below.
A: If you're updating to a new version or you're low on disk space, we recommend using FlashpointUpdater. In addition to updating an existing copy, it can also be used to download a full copy of Flashpoint Ultimate by pointing it at an empty folder. This lets you avoid downloading and extracting a 7Z file, saving a lot of disk space.
A: Moshi Monsters is available in Flashpoint Ultimate and Infinity. If you want a full, offline copy of Moshi Monsters but don't want to download Flashpoint Ultimate, you can download our standalone Moshi Monsters package.
A: If your Downloads folder is grouped by date, you'll need to scroll down to the "Earlier this year" or "A long time ago" section to find your Flashpoint folder. This is because Flashpoint's files were packed into the installer "a long time ago", so they appear on your computer as being from that date, even though the installer file itself was downloaded to your computer recently.
A: The download was probably corrupted. Browsers are not designed to download gigantic files like Flashpoint Ultimate, so you'll need to use a download manager such as Free Download Manager to download the file.
A: Flashpoint Secure Player powers our ActiveX support. It provides a lightweight wrapper around Internet Explorer's engine, so it can load ActiveX controls just like Internet Explorer can. It has a significant advantage over Internet Explorer though: it allows us to use Internet Explorer's engine with Flashpoint but not change your Internet Explorer settings. It can load files through Flashpoint's proxy and load Flashpoint's ActiveX controls that do not work with Internet Explorer's default settings. In addition, Flashpoint Secure Player resets all changes that it makes to your system after it closes, meaning that ActiveX controls can be used without being permanently installed. All of the ActiveX controls supported by Flashpoint are included in the FPSoftware\ActiveX folder; no ActiveX controls are downloaded from the internet.
And there are some great ones out there, all of them are worth watching in some shape or form even if they don't completely work. Justice League: The Flashpoint Paradox does work and brilliantly, for this viewer it's one of the better animated straight-to-video superhero films. There is very little to criticise it, except that some of it did feel a little rushed, Superman could have been fleshed out more and Professor Zoom was defeated too easily. The anime-inspired animation is wonderful though, if you enjoy the animation style of Young Justice- I do- you'll enjoy the animation here. The atmospheric colours and fluidity are simply remarkable. The music is haunting and beautiful at the same time, giving intensity to the action scenes and giving weight to the more emotional and dramatic scenes. While the dialogue is really smart and intelligently written and the story is hugely compelling right up to the end and packs a real emotional punch. The action sequences have an epic intensity to them, the moral ambiguity seen in the characters and story is interwoven very well and the complexity of the characters- they are much more than what they seem- is to be admired, especially Flash- especially in the final 10 minutes- and a more bad-ass Aquaman(loved that). There are lots of familiar characters that pop up every now and again, which comic book and superhero fans will really appreciate. And of course the voice acting is superb, with Justin Chambers really making us identify with his character, having Kevin Conroy back as Batman is a huge plus and there's also the suavity and command that Cary Elwes brings to Aquaman. C. Thomas Howell also shines in one of his best, maybe even his best, film in recent years(considering that he's been in a lot of bad movies, especially from The Asylum, lately that's saying a lot)- he is menacing and very malicious as Zoom, his taunting of Flash is subtly chilling and one of the high points in the writing. Overall, while not entirely perfect Justice League: The Flashpoint Paradox is fabulous. 9/10 Bethany Cox
I am not overly keen on superheroes in general, and sat down to watch "Justice League: The Flashpoint Paradox" because I had the chance and it was available at hand, and I had some spare time to pass. The story concept was good, as it is always nice to see a "what if..." take on something that is already established. And the storyboard creators here did a good job with the telling of the story. There is a good amount of action and fighting in "Justice League: The Flashpoint Paradox", which makes it sort of worth while to sit through. However, my biggest concern with this movie was the animation style and the art style. It was somewhat a mix between the Manga style and the style of cartoons in the 1980's. I didn't much care for it, and would have preferred them to go either way; either stick to being Manga style or stick to being 1980's style. Of course, this is a matter of preference - and mine is colored by growing up with 1980's cartoons on TV, so...The better part of "Justice League: The Flashpoint Paradox" was the voice acting, as they had managed to put together a good ensemble of people for the various roles. If you enjoy superhero animations, then "Justice League: The Flashpoint Paradox" should be right up your alley.
